ICT/Computer Science (Higham Ferrers)
Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a secondary school in Higham Ferrers who are seeking a teacher of ICT or Computer Science. The school requires a passionate and dynamic teacher who can work alongside the department to encourage improvement and secure better progress for learners. The school caters for students aged 11-18 and is based in the small town of Higham Ferrers situated on the border between Cambridge and Northamptonshire. Recent renovations have provided the school with outstanding facilities including a new dance studio as well as an applied learning centre for creative and media subjects. The successful applicant will be capable of teaching ICT lessons to key stage 3 and 4 students in line with national curriculum standards. They will work alongside a team of subject specialists who make up the ICT team. The department boasts specialist accommodation for teaching supported by recently refurbed ICT rooms. The pay rate for this role will fall between £130 and £170 per day.
The ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced and dedicated ICT teacher with previous history teaching the subject at secondary level
- Capable of planning and delivering dynamic, creative lessons which cater to various learning styles and abilities
- Equipped with excellent classroom presence and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about motivating students and encouraging them to reach their full potential
- Able to make accurate use of assessment to
