ICT Teacher

January 2019 start (ASAP)

We are seeking to appoint a teacher of ICT, holding Qualified Teacher Status to join our talented and dedicated partner school in the M18 area of central Manchester.

Due to an ongoing staff sickness, the school now has a temporary position available due to commence in January 2019. Whilst this position is temporary in the first instance, this could possibly continue for the successful applicant. Our partner school is an 11 - 16 mixed gender secondary school located in central Manchester with just over 600 pupils on roll. The school values personal, cultural and spiritual development as well as academic success. This is an exciting opportunity to join our partner school on its journey to excellence. The successful applicant will take responsibility of teaching ICT at KS3 and KS4 across the full age and ability range. Experience in teaching Computer Science would be desirable but is not essential. The school are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with a proven track record of teaching ICT up to GCSE standard. We are looking for an individual who has excellent behaviour management skills and a commitment to ensuring that all students are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. The school welcomes applications from Newly Qualified Teachers and experience teachers wishing to continue their career in a successful and welcoming school.
