Humanities Teacher required in Slough

Job description

I am currently seeking a passionate and inspiring Humanities teacher for a very well respected good secondary school, located in Slough. Are you able to promote a creative, varied and flexible approach to the Humanities curriculum? Are you good at promoting differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression?

I am seeking Secondary Humanities Teachers who:

  • Has worked in UK secondary schools previously
  • Taught 9-1 GCSE History, Geography
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly and have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Hold QTS, a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to get one

I am hoping to meet with a teacher who can make a positive contribution to teaching and learning, joining the school on its journey to becoming an exceptional school. Our client school is a large modern secondary, a short drive from the town centre with solid public transport links. Staff and students can benefit from state of the art facilities including a specialised learning support unit for students to work away from mainstreams lessons.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
