Job description

An opportunity to work within the Humanities department at our growing secondary school in Salford supporting pupils aged 11-16 in their varying levels of learning ability.

  • Full-time Hisotry teacher
  • Start date – September 2023
  • Must hold subject specific qualifications
  • Paid to scale point (£28,000 - £43,685)

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Planning, prepping and delivering science lessons to meet the differing needs of pupils with various levels of learning.
  • Teaching a full timetable across KS3 and GCSE
  • Attending parents evening and department meeting
  • Managing behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy

Our client is a secondary school in the Salford district with over 800 pupils on roll, the school is easily accessible via the M61, M62 A580 ad A57 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. Candidates applying who do not drive, the school is also accessible via public transport from areas surrounding Manchester

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
