Job description

We are currently working with a Rochdale based secondary school seeking a permanent History teacher to join them this September.

We are looking for an experienced individual looking for their next teaching opportunity in a rewarding and successful school. The successful candidate will start in a permanent position this September in a full-time position. Our welcoming secondary school is known for its state-of-the-art facilities and success rates, and you will be required to teach at KS3 and KS4. You will be supporting with planning and marking responsibilities, n also be required to attend meetings and parents’ evenings.

Both newly qualified and experienced teachers are being qualified for this role, and training and development is provided.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing materials and classroom activities
  • Identify students with special requirements and create individualised plans
  • Assign students homework and interesting exercises
  • Provide constructive feedback to pupils

The school is widely accessible, with popular motorways surrounding the area. On-site parking is also available for all members of staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
