Graduate Teaching Assistant – Cheshire West & Chester and Merseryside
Teaching Personnel are seeking graduate Teaching Assistant’s to work in our partner secondary schools in Cheshire and Merseyside. The roles will be to specifically focus on raising attainment in core subjects prior to the GCSE examinations. This is a exceptional opening for a graduate to support directly within high performing secondary schools:
- Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Working under the Head of departments to deliver pre-set work
- Tutoring pupils with their GCSE exam preparation
- Supporting 1-to-1 lessons and to carry out small group sessions
As a result of the mock examinations showing pupils who require extra support to raise their progress in core subjects, our partner schools wish to acquire the support of graduate Teaching Assistants.
This role offers a graduate a fantastic opportunity to utilise their subject knowledge and make a difference in pupil’s lives. It will also provide invaluable experience prior to any other graduates thinking of carrying out their teacher training in the future.
The incoming graduate teaching assistant will ideally have previous experience of working with 11-16 year olds in an educational environment. Further being able to deliver resources effectively and to build positive working relationships with pupils is essential.
