State of the art secondary school in Oldham seeking to hire a Teacher of Science from January 2017, initially on a temporary basis until August with a view to becoming a permanent post.
The role of Science teacher in this large department will involve creating stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum to suit the varying ability levels of pupils. Working alongside fellow Science teachers who strive to ensure students achieve their potential, GCSE pass rates for Science have risen significantly over the last 12 months mainly due to commitment and drive of the new faculty leader. Required from January, this is a full time temporary position so any interested Science teachers must be available for the duration of this assignment.

The successful Science teacher joining this school will benefit greatly from the high levels of support within the faculty and extensive CPD and training. Science is a popular amongst pupils and the incoming Science teacher will be teaching students who have “good behaviour” and fully respect the behaviour policy in school.
