We are working closely with a well-known and vibrant primary school in Hayes for children with autism who are seeking Teachers with autism experience.
*Graduate Teacher (autism) role in primary school in Hayes to start September 2018*
*6-8 pupils in class with 2-3 highly skilled support staff*
*Regular high-quality training from autism and SEN specialists*
*£120 - £150 per day, Full-time position with permanent contracts offered after academic year*
This amazing school offers a range of educational, therapeutic support and outreach for primary pupils with autism across the borough of Hillingdon. The school prides itself on its innovative approach to learning and development of pupils and regular support of staff in training and overall development. Due to pupil numbers increases they are looking for final year students for graduate autism teachers positions to work across Early Years to Key Stage 2.
Ideally successful applicants for this teaching position will have autism and/or special needs teaching practice in a special needs school, primary school or educational environment. However, those with qualifications and proven interest will also be considered as the school provide high quality training for staff.
Due to potential permanent contracts being offered after an academic year they look for applicants with long term and permanent work perspectives.
The school seek applicants who have/be:
- Final Year student
- Autism teaching or support experience in a special need school, primary school, nursery and/or centre
- Confidence in planning, teaching and assessing primary aged pupils in Maths, English, Science and PSHE
- Available for full-time work and can commit to 8:30am - 4:30pm hours Monday to Friday
- Live within or local to the Borough of Hillingdon
- Open to continued staff development
