Job description

A secondary school in the Warrington area is looking for a full time English teacher to join them for the duration of the summer term starting after the Easter break. This full time English teaching position is to start on Tuesday 23rd April 2019 and will be for the remainder of the academic year. The successful English teacher is required as a result of a long term absence within the English department. The English teacher will be required to teach across both English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4 following the AQA specification.

The school are looking for an English teacher that can commit to the half term starting as soon as possible until the East break. The successfully appointed English teacher can be of any experience level from newly qualified or more experienced in their teaching career with applications encouraged from all levels.

Highlights of this English teaching position:

  • Full time English teacher required: KS3 and KS4 AQA syllabus
  • Pay will be dependent upon payscale and experience; following the teacher payscale:
  • £23720 - £39406 per day
  • Payrolled on a supply basis via Teaching Personnel
  • Duration: 1 term in the first instance starting as soon as possible until Easter; ideally 23/04/2019
  • Possibility to secure a school based contract depending on the right candidate given the situation and availability in the English department
