Job description

We are currently searching for a Teaching Assistant to help support a small group of pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties based in Sherborne.


The school are currently looking for someone with experience of working as a Teaching Assistant based in an SEN setting, a background of working with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties would be advantageous and a passion to make a difference to young people's lives essential.


The main aim is to support and care for vulnerable young people with complex needs to ensure every individual young person gets the most out of life and are able to develop their skills into adulthood, supporting them to enjoy good physical and mental health.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
