Teaching Personnel are seeking a teaching assistant who can speak Slovak. You will be working one to one with a child whose first language is Slovakian. This particular child has moderate learning difficulties and autistic tendancies. You will be working full time on a one to one basis and supporting the class teacher with planning and assessment.
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education.
