Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Drama Graduate for one of our key partner secondary schools that is based in Leigh.

The school seek to appoint a drama graduate for a full-time position where the incoming member of staff will be required to work closely with the Heads of Department across the school.

Drama Graduate Position

• Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant and 1:1 Support responsibilities
• Full-time role from with a starting date of March 2019 or sooner
• Competitive pay rates with earning potential of up to £1200 a month

This exciting position is available for Graduates of Drama who now wish to gain further experience within a secondary school environment ahead of completing a teacher training course in the future.

The school wish to employ someone who is able to work flexibly across the school ensuring that lessons operate smoothly and that students within the school receive an excellent level of education. When not assisting across the school there will be regular opportunities to work closely within the schools Drama department.

The successful Drama Graduate will be employed from March 2019 on a temporary basis for the remainder of the academic year.

The school wish to appoint an individual who is able to build good relationships with students aged 11-16 and is able to have a positive affect on their learning within school. The incoming member of staff must be flexible and be able to adapt to a number of varied roles that they will be responsible for within school.

Responsibilities involved with this role

• General Teaching Assistant duties - Supporting the main class teacher ensuring lessons operate smoothly
• Providing lesson cover where a teacher is absent - This will be fully supported by the school
• Working closely with students on a 1:1 basis - Providing support to students who require additional support throughout the day.

Our partner school is smaller than the average sized secondary with around 700 pupils on roll and the vast majority of pupils who attend the school are from a White British background. The school is located on the outskirts of Leigh town centre and holds an excellent reputation within the local area with a strong sense of community felt throughout.
