Teaching Personnel are working with an oversubscribed secondary school in North Dorset who are looking to appoint a creative Design & Technology Teacher who has experience teaching Textiles and Food Technology. The department is well established consisting of 6 Technology Teachers, the successful applicant will be fully supported by all staff members.
The ideal teacher will have high expectations and a successful track record delivering KS3 and KS4 textiles and Food Technology.
The Job Role:
- To plan and deliver Design Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
- To track and monitor progress in-line with GCSE criteria.
- To help raise attainment within the Design Technology Department.
- To provide students with life skills needed to be successful within their chosen job sector.
- To provide engaging and innovative lessons.
