Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?

A specialist SEN school in Walton-on-Thames is expanding with a brand-new Primary provision alongside its existing Secondary school. They are looking for passionate, experienced TAs to support pupils with a range of additional needs.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs.
• Encourage communication, independence and positive behaviour.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team.
• Create a safe, supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience in a school is essential.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Patient, resilient and proactive approach.
• Team Teach, Makaton or PECS training is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
