We are looking for a motivated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Godalming, supporting pupils who benefit from a little extra guidance, encouragement and understanding.

Every child learns differently, and the right support can make all the difference. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, celebrating small achievements and helping children feel confident in their abilities.

What will your day look like?

• Working closely with pupils who need additional support to access their learning.
• Helping children with autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and other additional needs.
• Breaking down tasks and adapting activities to make learning more accessible.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive social interactions.
• Providing reassurance and practical support when pupils find situations challenging.
• Working alongside teaching staff to create an engaging and inclusive classroom.
• Recognising individual progress and celebrating every milestone, big or small.

You don't need to have all the answers, but you should be someone who is willing to learn, thinks on their feet and genuinely cares about helping children succeed.

You'll bring patience, understanding and a positive attitude, along with the ability to adapt to different situations. Experience in a school, nursery, care setting or a role supporting children with additional needs would be beneficial, but transferable skills are equally valued.
