Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Required – September Start

SEN Primary School | Horley
Monday – Friday | 8:15am – 4:45pm
Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity where you can make a genuine difference to children with additional needs?

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive specialist SEN primary school in Horley.

The Role

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils throughout the school day
Support pupils with their learning, communication, social and emotional development
Encourage engagement, confidence, independence and participation in classroom activities
Work closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to meet individual needs
Support pupils with additional needs in a calm, structured and nurturing environment
Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and make progress towards their individual goals

What We're Looking For

Previous SEN experience is essential, ideally within a school setting

✅ A calm, patient and caring approach
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ Someone proactive, reliable and adaptable
✅ A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
