A welcoming and well-established SEN secondary school in Leatherhead is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join their friendly and supportive team. Working Hours

Monday – Friday | 8:15am – 4:45pm

What You'll Be Doing

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Your day could include:

✨ Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs

✨ Supporting engaging classroom activities and encouraging participation in lessons

✨ Helping students develop confidence, independence and communication skills

✨ Working closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to provide the very best support

✨ Creating a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued

✨ Celebrating every achievement—big or small—and helping students reach their goals

What We're Looking For

✔ Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role (essential)

✔ Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs

✔ A calm, patient and adaptable approach

✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

✔ A positive attitude and willingness to get involved

✔ A genuine passion for helping young people learn, grow and thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
