Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding opportunity this September?
We are working with a fantastic specialist Secondary SEN School in Addlestone that primarily supports students with Autism (ASC). The school is looking to appoint passionate, patient and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to secondary-aged students with Autism.

Assist students in accessing learning both inside and outside of the classroom.

Support communication, emotional regulation and the development of independence.

Implement individual support strategies and behaviour plans.

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and the wider SEN team to provide outstanding support.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school setting (essential).

Experience working with students with Autism (ASC).
-
A calm, resilient and proactive approach to supporting learners.
-
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
-
A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.

Thrive Practitioner training, Team Teach, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Makaton, PECS or other relevant SEN qualifications are highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
