Teacher of Computer Science

Our partner secondary near Bognor Regis are seeking an inspirational classroom practitioner with strong Computer Science knowledge to join a growing department and new National Centre for Computing Excellence. The school wish to appoint an individual who is or has the potential to be an outstanding practitioner and has the necessary skills, attributes and passion to invigorate students to be successful in this subject area.
Computing is a popular and successful department with a proven track record of success. Learners achieve good GCSE grades and have the opportunity to continue their studies at A level in the school Sixth Form. Results in 2019/20 for GCSE were 82% grade 4 and above with 30% of the cohort achieving grade 7+ with 82% A*-B achieved at A Level. Co – curricular opportunities within the department are also significant providing various opportunities for students to extend their learning beyond the classroom and into industry.
An ideal candidate will be able to:

- Monitor progress of all learners in lessons and tutor group in order that they achieve their potential
