Primary Teachers Required for Catch-Up Tuition

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking qualified Primary School Teachers to deliver effective catch-up tuition for pupils. Due to COVID, many children have struggled to close the attainment gaps opened by the loss of schooling this year. Therefore, several primary schools across Greenwich are looking for teachers to carry out the following:

• Support low ability pupils with numeracy and literacy in small groups or 1:1
• Keep accurate records of pupil progress and feedback to the class teacher and SLT
• Work alongside the class teacher to put intervention/lesson plans together
• Deliver tailored, high impact intervention lessons
• Support pupils learning and increase self esteem

The ideal candidate:

• NQT or FQT status
• Ability to recognise gaps in knowledge and tailor teaching accordingly
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Experience working with small groups is preferable, but not essential
• Must possess a current and valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
