Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are absent. Working across a variety of subjects, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
- Maintain a calm, purposeful and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
- Support students with their learning and engagement
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress
- Support behaviour, safeguarding and pastoral systems across the school
- Assist with examination invigilation and additional student support where required.
All lesson materials are provided by teaching staff, allowing you to focus on delivering learning and supporting students.

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Has GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
- Is confident working with young people aged 11–16
- Can build positive relationships and maintain high expectations
- Possesses strong communication and organisational skills
- Is adaptable, resilient and able to work independently
- Has a genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
