Primary School Teacher

Make a Difference in Primary Schools Across Dorset – Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity? Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we're looking for enthusiastic, qualified teachers with QTS to work across a range of welcoming primary schools throughout Dorset.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire pupils and support their progress.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Delivering the National Curriculum effectively and ensuring learning objectives are met.
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the diverse needs and abilities of pupils.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining effective classroom management.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches to support individual development.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and school staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for these opportunities, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum.
  • Be committed to raising attainment and helping every child reach their potential.
  • Have strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
  • Be adaptable and confident when working in different school environments.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

A First Aid qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
