Behaviour Support Assistant - Thurrock

Job description

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a primary school based in Thurrock that has asked us to help find a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their school in September, supporting pupils at the school with SEN.

It is a 3 form entry school with supportive staff and great working environment!

To be considered for this role you will ideally have some of the following:

  • Experience or knowledge within special educational needs such as Autism, SLcN, SEMH
  • University degree or A Level qualification
  • Primary school TA experience
  • Strong behaviour management techniques
  • Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
  • Professional manor
  • Enthusiasm and friendly approach

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
