Teaching Personnel are looking for a strong, resilient and supportive Behaviour Mentor to work with pupils who display challenging behaviour and require tailored 1:1 support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.

About the Role:

• Work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who present a range of behavioural and emotional needs.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils to help them regulate their emotions and behaviour.
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include ADHD, Autism, Social, Emotional, Mental Health & Anxiety.
• Promote positive behaviour and help pupils re-engage with their learning in a safe and structured environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour.
• Strong resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring but firm approach with the ability to set clear boundaries.
• A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Relevant training in behaviour management, Team Teach, or similar (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
