 Sports Coach Teaching Assistant

Do you have a background in sports, coaching or fitness and a passion for working with children? Teaching Personnel are looking for energetic and positive Sports Coach Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools.

This role is perfect for someone active, confident and ready to inspire children both inside and outside the classroom.

About the Role:

• Support pupils during lessons and help the teacher deliver engaging activities.
• Use your sporting background to promote teamwork, resilience and positive behaviour
• Lead or assist with active learning, movement breaks and lunchtime clubs.
• Work 1 to 1 or with small groups to boost confidence, focus and social skills.
• Encourage a healthy, active lifestyle through motivation and positive role modelling.
• Help with classroom tasks, instructional support and behaviour management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in sports coaching, PE support, youth work or fitness.
• Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
• Confident, proactive and able to build strong relationships.
• Good communication and behaviour management skills.
• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

No formal teaching qualification needed just the right energy, attitude and desire to help children succeed.
