Contract: Full-time, term-time only

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to train as Teaching Assistants within a supportive primary school in the NP10 area. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about working with children and looking to build a long-term career in education, even if you have limited classroom experience.

About the Role

• Supporting pupils in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to help children engage in learning
• Assisting with classroom preparation and resources
• Supporting behaviour management and promoting positive routines
• Encouraging pupil confidence, independence and progress
• Working as part of a dedicated and supportive school team

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine interest in working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, patience and a professional attitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Experience with children (school, coaching, childcare, volunteering) is beneficial but not essential
• Must be willing to complete a DBS check (or already hold one on the update service)
