Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Specialist Resource Base (SRB)

We are looking for a caring, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant to join a brand-new Specialist Resource Base (SRB) supporting pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new provision from the very start and help shape a supportive, nurturing environment for the children who need it most.

About the Role

• Location – NP26
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Pay - £89.38 Per Day
• Working within a Specialist Resource Base (SRB)
• Supporting pupils with a range of needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, social/emotional needs)
• Combination of 1:1 support and small group work
• Helping pupils regulate behaviour, stay engaged and access learning
• Working closely with teachers, SENCO and therapists
• Start date: SRB opens 3rd November (Training included)
• Commitment required until at least Easter, likely until end of the school year

• Resilient, calm and patient
• Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
• Confident in managing challenging behaviour
• Able to build positive relationships and earn trust
• A strong team player with good communication skills

Experience in an SRB, SEN or behaviour support setting is ideal –

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
