Position: Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant

Location: Newport (NP20)

Hours: 8:30 – 3:30 (Monday-Friday)

Pay: £12.82 per hour

Start: 8^th April 2024

Teaching Personnel are looking for a committed fluent Welsh speaker to join us as a Nursery Assistant. Are you the person to help develop and encourage positive behaviours in young children? This opportunity is for people who can inspire and encourage the new intake of nursery children after Easter.

Nursery Assistant Responsibilities:

• Create an engaging and nurturing environment for young children to develop and grow their social and emotional skills.
• Assist in nursery activities, supporting the daily operations of the nursery.
• Be passionate about providing the best care for children.
• Adhering to school safeguarding regulations.
• Adapt to different situations as they arise.

Nursery Assistant Requirements:

• Fluent Welsh Speaker
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Hold a Child only DBS certificate that is registered on the Update System
• Provide two professional references covering 24 months
