  • Reinforcing understanding through repetition, games, and hands-on learning

  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress

  • Promoting engagement, confidence, and independence in learning

  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCO, and support staff to adapt strategies for individual needs

Pupils you may support:

  • Children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)

  • Pupils with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs

  • Learners needing extra help with reading, phonics, writing, or basic numeracy skills

  • A basic understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly in English and Maths

  • Confidence in delivering small-group or 1:1 learning activities

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A caring, positive attitude and a commitment to inclusion

Requirements

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
