We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join friendly and supportive primary schools in the NP20 area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom, supporting pupils in their learning and development on a daily basis.

The role involves providing general classroom support, as well as occasionally assisting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) or Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required.

About the Role:

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis within a primary school setting
• Help deliver tailored learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
• Provide emotional and behavioural support to pupils with additional needs
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in lessons
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive learning environment

About You:

• Experience supporting children with ALN/SEN (Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs) is beneficial but not essential
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
