Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming partner schools in the Newport (NP area).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children aged 3–5 years and wants to make a real difference in their early development.

Role Overview:

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to:

• Support children’s learning through play and structured activities
• Help deliver engaging lessons that support early development and communication skills
• Provide care and attention to ensure each child feels safe and supported
• Encourage independence and confidence in every child
• Support children with additional learning needs (ALN) when required

‍ About You:

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience working with children in a nursery, EYFS, or early years setting
• Are caring, patient, and enthusiastic about child development
• Can build positive relationships with staff, parents, and children
• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare (desirable but not essential)
