Are you looking to take on a rewarding role that will make an incredible impact to the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities?
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a school within the Havering area. We are looking to recruit passionate Learning Support Assistants to work alongside children and young people with a multitude of Special Needs. This role is to work initially on a flexible basis, with the potential to develop into a contract position for the right candidate.
Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children across all Key Stages, accompanied by a Teacher and other Support Assistants. You will be working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs such as; MLD, PMLD, SLD, Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome and Physical Disabilities.
The successful candidate must have experience with some of the following:
- Experience working with people with SEN / Disabilities
- Confidence supporting children and young people with different types of SEN
- Previous experience as a Care / Support Worker
- Work within a Specialist Provision or SEN school
Teaching Personnel can offer SEN Teaching Assistants:
- Weekly pay of GBP300-GBP400 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf
- Access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications and knowledge of the field such as: Autism Awareness, Safeguarding, Team Teach and more
- An experienced consultant along with our dedicated on call service
