We work with a specialist School based in Bracknell, Berkshire which caters for young people who have Autism. This means the pupils can have difficulty managing social interactions; and recognising and regulating their emotions in order to promote positive mental health. The school caters for individuals with SEN and SEMH; providing facilities and learning opportunities to support a wide variety of needs.
The role will require applicants working with closely with Teachers and supportive Teaching Assistants; this will be on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils with Autism and complex behavioural needs. We are looking for applicants to work with students 5 days per week, between the hours of 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday. A variety of roles in this school are available, as the student base has recently expanded requiring an additional 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant and general classroom Learning Support Assistant.
