Role
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Teacher to provide SATs boosters for children who are working below age related expectations. You will be expected to plan and deliver tailored sessions for small groups of children or sometimes the whole class in Y2. We are looking for a Teacher who has a good knowledge of current assessments and who would be able to support children with their core subject knowledge.
Ideal candidate
The ideal SATs booster teacher will be:
- An experienced Teacher
- Able to motivate and inspire children who are not engaged
- Full or part time availability
- Good understanding of current assessments
- Proven track record of raising attainment
- Experience supporting children for SATs
Schools
Teaching Personnel work exclusively with a number of schools in South Sheffield and Chesterfield. We work with the Birley Federation of schools, which are a cluster of schools with good transport links (including the tram) so owning a car is not essential. The schools regularly need support to cover short term sickness, provide additional boosters or take on longer term placements. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to find out more about the roles currently offered across these schools.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching personnel is the leading education recruitment agency in the UK. Benefits include:
- Ongoing CPD
- Great pay of up to £160 per day
- Teacher of the month awards
- A dedicated consultant who will support you
- Interview preparation
- Experience in schools exclusive to Teaching Personnel
