Youth Worker - Oldham

Youth worker required for part time position supporting young people within the Oldham area.

There are a number of pupils that have been recognised within our client schools in the Oldham area that require additional support this academic year. We require a Youth Worker to support these pupils on a 1:1 and sometimes group basis within these secondary schools, assisting them with any needs they have, whether these are learning, SEN, behaviour or SEMH related.

Previous experience working as a Youth Worker is preferred; however we would consider applications from candidates with transferable experiences or skills, or those who have supported young people within secondary schools in the past. Alternatively we would also welcome applications from graduates with psychology related degrees. With this role being part time it is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to young people's lives, while working on a flexible basis around your current work schedule.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
