Calling all behaviour mentors in Hillingdon for September

  • £60+ per day depending on experience
  • Full-time and Part-time positions available
  • Access to additional training for example Autism Awareness course

Are you seeking an exciting new role supporting Primary School pupils who have challenging behaviour? We are looking for behaviour mentors who can be a positive role model to pupils across KS2.

About The Role

You will be required to support pupils who are facing difficulties inside and outside the classroom. These young children may lack self-confidence, self-esteem or motivation. You will be responsible for ensuring that pupils are able to achieve their full potential by developing action plans and monitoring their progress.

Challenging behaviour consists of:

-Disrupting the lessons and distracting peers

- Negative attitude towards learning

- Bullying

-Not lining up with the class

The ideal candidate:

•Excellent communication and listening skills

•Strong mentoring background

•Youth work experience

•Patient and calm approach towards young people

•Positive role model and ability to motivate

• Team Teach trained would be ideal, but not necessary

•Good standard of education

•Have a valid DBS or be willing to complete an application

We work with a number of Primary Schools in Ruislip, West Drayton, Hayes, Uxbridge and Northwood.
