A primary school in Northampton is looking for an Interventions Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 and KS2 and offer small group support to pupils in lower academic ability areas, specific SEN support, pastoral support and behavioural support.

You will be primarily based within a KS2 class offering general academic support and classroom support but will also have between 10-15 hours per week working with small groups of children outside of the classroom offering support in various subject and pastoral areas such as Phonics sessions, Maths interventions, Behavioural interventions, social interventions and Speech and Language interventions. Therefore, it is essential that the ideal candidate has previous experience of working with EHC's and supporting pupils with various SEN.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant who is looking for further responsibilities within the school and the opportunity to work with a variety of pupils with SEN.
