Year 6 teacher - Whitefield, Bury (M45) primary school

A school in the Bury (M45) area looking for a Year 6 teacher to start on the 3rd January until the end of the academic year. There been an unexpected long term sickness so the school is looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running so experience in teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum is essential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified teacher
  • Experience working with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Experience with SATS prep
  • Enthusiastic and committed to high expectations of behaviour
  • Passionate about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context

The Bury primary school has recently been rated GOOD by Ofsted and is a busy but very friendly school. The primary school is larger than average and extremely proud to be at the heart of the local community. The school has a high percentage of pupils with English as an additional language so experience working with children with additional needs is desirable.
