Year 6 Teacher Sydenham

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to join one of our friendly and caring partner primary schools in Sydenham. The school benefits from being a stone throw away from Lower Sydenham Station accessible via South Eastern Service.

The school recently achieved an Ofsted rating of “good” in December 2019 due to its outstanding features. The school has a clear vision for how to continue improving and a determination to build on their strong foundation to become outstanding in all areas.

The school is a very friendly place, and the pupil behaviour is good. The school welcomes children of all faiths and no faith to the friendly community. The school has good links with parents and carers and this sharing of learning between home and school means pupils generally have very positive attitudes to learning.

You will be teaching a class of 30 children with the support of a wonderful team of teaching assistants that work across the school. As well as this, the school has a close-knit community and you will receive support and guidance from the team of established experienced teachers. The school is happy to consider teachers with any level of experience as long as they have a good understanding of the UK curriculum.

Lastly the school is looking for someone as a temp with the option to go permanent should you meet their requirements!
