Job description

A Primary School in the North Liverpool area are currently searching to find a KS2 SATS Intervention Teacher to help raise attainment in Maths and English. The role at this Liverpool Primary School will involve working with identified groups of children in year 6 to develop their confidence and motivation for Maths and English to raise their attainment in the build up to SATs through intervention.

  • Working across Year 6 helping to raise pupil attainment in both Maths and English in preparation for SATs.
  • 'Good' Ofsted graded Liverpool Primary School.
  • Continuous Professional Development high on the agenda to develop all staff.

The role will involve working alongside the class room teacher to assess, plan and deliver group lessons. You will also be responsible for evaluating the children's progress following the schools assessment scheme. The groups will all be a similar level from lower ability groups to the most able.

The school are looking for candidates with experience in year 6. Ideally they would like them to start as soon as possible. The role will be part time, working Monday to Wednesday 8.30 - 3.30pm.
