The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of teaching and student progress within a successful primary school. The KS1 Teacher will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with parents, pupils and staff. You will be self-motivated and committed to the development of learners both academically and socially. The KS1 Teacher will use their creative teaching methods when inspiring young pupils.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be teaching a specific Year 1 class. Your responsibilities will include delivering creative lessons to pupils of various abilities. You will have the support a classroom teaching assistant who will assist with the day to day running of lessons. The KS1 Teacher will keep teaching inclusive and fair ensuring pupils make excellent progress. It is your responsibility as a KS1 Teacher to manage the classroom, meet with parents and work closely with school staff. You will also be willing to lead extra-curricular activities afterschool, when required.
