Job description

A 'Good' Catholic primary school near Stepney are looking for a teacher to take over a Year 1 class starting in the September 2018. This Catholic Primary School is situated right on the Canal, a five minute walk from Mile End station and was judged as 'Good' by Ofsted in July 2014. We are seeking an inspirational teacher for the school's Year 1 class.

You would be working alongside some great teachers who share a common goal within the school of providing the best quality education to their enthusiastic students. This Year 1 position would suit someone who is looking for either a one year post or a permanent position, and is willing to get involved in the school community and ethos.

The school is in the trustee of the Archdiocese of Westminster and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years working within the Catholic Schools system. Applicants do not need to be Catholic but must be willing to support the strong Catholic ethos of the school.

The ideal Year 1 teacher will have relevant UK experience within KS1 and be passionate about raising attainment. The school has excellent resources and facilities. If you would like to be considered, please submit your CV and covering letter.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
