Are you an engaging SEN Teaching Assistant and looking to take on a new role within south east London?

The school are looking to recruit a new member of staff to support a pupil in Year 1 with ASC. Experience with Autism would be preferable however not necessary. This role will suit someone who is pro active with a real enthusiasm for supporting not only a key child but the classroom as a whole. General duties of this role would include small group work to help the attainment of the key child and other students and other duties to support the class.

This particular school is located close to Lewisham station with Overground and DLR links to the local area and beyond. Recently awarded "Good with Outstanding features" by Ofsted who praised the schools SEN provisions and SLT.

With a very hands-on SENCO any member of staff to join this school would receive fantastic training and support from all colleagues in providing the very best support to all pupils. The role is part time (5 mornings) and has a daily pay rate of £175-£225 per week with an immediate start.


  • CACHE level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • A current valid child workforce DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Confidence dealing with sensitive matters
  • 2 recent references

We would also like to hear from you if you meet any of the following;

  • Experience in working with ASC
  • Team Teach qualified
  • Experience as a TA within an EYFS or KS1 setting
