Teaching Personnel has been asked to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant experienced in working in Foundation Phase and KS1.
The role will be based in a large two form entry primary school in Neath commencing in September 2017.
This is a term time only, fixed term contract until 31st August 2018.
The school would like somebody to join the enthusiastic, committed and professional team of staff.
The successful candidate will need:
• To be able to build relationships with the children and colleagues within the school and community
• To have high expectations for children’s learning, behaviour and personal development
• To work with a range of outside agencies
• To follow direction from the class teacher
• To be proactive in adapting resources and activities
• To complete relevant training where needed
• To be able to work as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, a sense of humour and the ability to share ideas and learn from each other
• To carry out some administrative tasks such as photocopying and laminating
