Teaching Personnel's Branch Manager is specifically recruiting a number of Welsh teaching assistants for long term roles in Carmarthenshire:

General Reception teaching assistant to start after February half term in a Llanelli primary school-

This school are seeking an experienced Foundation Phase teaching assistant to work full time in their large Reception class. If successful you would be working alongside another teaching assistant supporting the class teacher to deliver literacy and numeracy lessons.

Year 4 behaviour buddy starting after half term in Llanelli Welsh primary-

The head teacher and SENCO are looking for a teaching assistant who have experience supporting challenging behaviour and would like to find someone who can commit to a full time role. The position will be supporting a year 4 pupil who displays signs of Autism and ADHD. the successful applicant will work on a full time basis starting in March and will support this pupil until at least July 2017, with a very good chance of continuing in September.

General Nursery teaching assistant in Ammanford -

This school are looking for a Nursery specialist TA to start after Easter in their ever growing Nursery class. The position will span until July 2017 and will be on a full time basis.

To apply for any of the above roles you must have, or be willing to apply for a new Child workforce DBS on the update service, be registered with the EWC, be able to provide a 6 year career history and be able to speak fluent Welsh.
