Location: SEN School, Preston.
Position: Learning Support Assistant.
Type: Full-Time.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)?

This primary SEN School in Preston is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team.

Your Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide individualised support for our students. Your role will include:

  • Assisting in the delivery of engaging and tailored learning activities.
  • Supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Encouraging independence and building self-confidence.
  • Providing one-to-one or group support as needed.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with children with SEN.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
  • A team player with strong communication skills.
  • Committed to creating a nurturing and positive learning experience.
  • Previous experience in an SEN or education setting is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
