Teaching Assistant work in Exeter

This role will involve supporting students in class and there may be some opportunities for small group and individual work.

We require you to work with children who have a range of different needs including: Dyslexia, Autism, Social and Emotional challenges, and behaviour issues.

This is a great opportunity for those wanting to gain experience before undertaking a PGCE or B.Ed. Many of our Teaching Assistants work with us to upskill themselves before completing their teaching qualifications.

This post offers flexible hours/days, short term or long term contracts which could fit alongside your current degree or college course.

Appropriate qualifications and relevant experience of working with people with specific needs are preferred but not essential.

Essential skills include: Being committed, enthusiastic, having an interest in education, being willing to get stuck in and the ability to work well with others.
