Job description

English Teacher – Stafford - Secondary School

Location: Stafford (ST16)

Salary: £32,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are working with a range of secondary schools across Stafford and the surrounding ST16 area who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to inspire students across KS3 and KS4. Demand for English specialists remains high as schools prepare for the new academic year.

Whether your specialism is English Language, English Literature, Creative Writing or GCSE exam preparation, we'd love to hear from you.

The role will involve:

Delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons

✍️ Developing students' reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills

Encouraging a love of literature through creative and interactive teaching

Supporting students in achieving their full potential at GCSE level

Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school teams

We are looking for candidates who are:

⭐ Able to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
