Ideally applicants would have experience of supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties in a SEN school setting. Some students may require medical assistance and personal care. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach and Moving & Handling are also advantageous.
Our ideal candidate will have:
-3 months experience supporting PMLD pupils in a SEN setting
-Experience of working with challenging behaviours and Team-Teach trained
-Moving and Handling trained
-NCFE/CACHE Level 2/3 Supporting and Learning in Schools
-Patient and nurturing mannerism with a good understanding of de-escalation techniques
