Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking work in thethe Preston area?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based SEN School who provide education and support for KS3/4 pupils and they also have an FE department. The School is larger than the average SEN School but still only caters for around 60 pupils. The staff in School are very welcoming, hard working and are looking forward to welcoming somebody new to their team.

The role will start in January, it is likely to be a full time role but the role will start on a supply, temporary basis and you may find that the work is more ad-hoc for the first couple of weeks. You will be expected to work one voluntary day in School prior to starting the role as the School need to ascertain your suitability.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and be willing to provide personal care for pupils who require it. The candidate will be expected to work from 8.30am - 3.15pm monday - friday and the ideal candidate will be looking for a long term role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
